1. Privacy contact
Akman Group keeps its public privacy contact simple. If you have questions about privacy, personal data, access, correction or deletion, please contact us by e-mail.
2. Data on our website
We only process the information that is reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to messages and protect the service from misuse.
When you visit the website, the hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser or device information and technical error data.
The website may also use local browser storage for practical functions such as remembering the selected language or that you closed the privacy notice banner.
3. Forms and messages
If you use our Game Ideas, Player Support or Business Contact forms, we process the information that you choose to submit.
This can include your name, e-mail address, game or project name, platform, message, game version and optional links to prototypes, screenshots or videos.
Form submissions are sent to team@akmansgroup.com. We use this information to review and answer the relevant request.
- We do not ask for passwords through our website forms.
- We do not ask for payment card information through our website forms.
- Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.
4. Privacy in our games
Akman Group develops games for different platforms. The exact data processing depends on the specific game, platform, version and the services that are actually enabled in that build.
We aim to keep data collection limited to what is reasonably necessary for gameplay, technical operation, security, support, analytics, monetisation or platform functionality.
A game may work largely with local data on the player's device, while other features may require communication with platform providers or third-party SDK services.
Not every Akman Group game uses every service listed below. A service only applies where it is actually integrated and enabled in the relevant game version.
5. Types of game data that may be processed
Depending on the game and SDK configuration, the following categories of data may be processed:
- Technical device data, such as device model, operating system, language, screen or hardware information.
- Game and app information, such as game version, build version, session information and technical configuration.
- Generated identifiers used by the game, platform or SDK to distinguish installations, sessions or players.
- Gameplay events, such as tutorial progress, level or progression events, feature usage, session length or other in-game interactions.
- Crash, exception, performance and diagnostics information used to identify technical problems.
- Advertising-related information where an advertising SDK is enabled, such as ad impressions, interactions, consent status, attribution or fraud-prevention signals.
- Platform-related information provided by services such as Google Play, Apple, Steam or console platforms where the player uses those services.
- Support information voluntarily provided by the player, for example through an in-game or website support request.
6. Unity and Unity Gaming Services
Some Akman Group games are developed with the Unity engine and may use Unity services or Unity SDK components.
Depending on the services enabled in a particular game, Unity-related processing may involve analytics, diagnostics, advertising, authentication, cloud functionality, push notifications or other game-service features.
Unity maintains its own privacy information for players of games and apps that use Unity technology. Unity's own services can have different privacy and consent requirements, so we assess the services used in each game separately.
- Unity Analytics may be used to understand how players interact with a game and can process game events and generated user identifiers.
- Unity Diagnostics or similar crash-reporting services may be used to collect crash, exception, performance and device information needed to investigate technical problems.
- Unity Ads may be used in games that contain advertising and can process information associated with ad delivery, ad interactions, consent, measurement, security and fraud prevention.
- Other Unity services may process additional information if they are enabled for a specific game.
7. Analytics and gameplay measurement
Where analytics is enabled, we may use aggregated or pseudonymous gameplay information to understand whether a game works as intended and how players interact with its features.
Examples can include session starts, tutorial completion, progression milestones, feature usage, retention-related events, balancing events or technical performance events.
We use this information to improve game design, identify problems, balance progression and understand overall game performance. We do not need a player's real name for normal gameplay analytics.
8. Crash reporting and diagnostics
A game may use crash-reporting or diagnostics tools to help identify crashes, exceptions, freezes, performance problems and other technical issues.
Diagnostics can include information about the game version, operating system, device characteristics, crash stack traces, error messages and technical state at the time of a problem.
This information is used for debugging, stability improvements and technical support.
9. Advertising and attribution SDKs
Some games may contain advertising or use an attribution SDK. If this applies, the relevant SDK can process information needed to deliver, measure and secure advertising.
Depending on the provider and platform, this can include device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived information, ad impressions, ad interactions, attribution information, consent choices and fraud-prevention signals.
Advertising SDKs are only relevant for games and versions in which advertising or attribution is actually enabled.
Where required by applicable law or platform policy, players will be provided with the required consent or privacy choices.
10. Push notifications and device permissions
A game may offer optional notifications, for example for rewards, game progress, events or reminders.
If notifications are enabled, the game or the relevant platform service may process a device notification token and technical information needed to deliver the notification.
Players can normally control notification permissions through the settings of their device or operating system.
11. Google Play, Apple, Steam and other platforms
Our games may be distributed or operated through third-party platforms such as Google Play, Apple's App Store, Steam or console platforms.
Those platform providers may process information independently under their own privacy policies, for example account information, downloads, platform achievements, cloud features, device information or store interactions.
Akman Group does not control all data processing performed independently by those platform providers.
12. Local saves and game settings
Where possible, game progress, settings or preferences may be stored locally on the player's device.
Local data normally remains on the device unless a cloud-save, account or platform-sync feature is enabled.
Deleting a game or clearing application data can therefore remove local progress if no cloud or platform backup exists.
13. Support and player communication
If a player contacts us about a game, we process the information needed to understand and respond to the support request.
This can include the player's e-mail address, game name, platform, game version, description of the issue and any screenshots or diagnostic details the player chooses to provide.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information through support requests.
14. Privacy choices in games
Privacy controls depend on the specific SDKs, game version, platform and applicable law.
Where required, we may provide consent, opt-out or data-management controls for analytics, advertising or other services.
Removing consent for one service does not necessarily disable another independent service, which is why privacy controls can differ between analytics, advertising and other SDK functions.
Players can contact team@akmansgroup.com if they have questions about the data processing of a specific Akman Group game.
15. Game-specific disclosures
Because different games can use different SDKs and features, this general Privacy Policy cannot accurately list every service for every future game version.
Where a released game uses services that materially change the data processing described here, we will update this Privacy Policy, provide game-specific information, or provide the disclosures required by the relevant platform.
For mobile releases, the data-safety or privacy information shown in the relevant app store should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
16. Hosting and technical providers
The Akman Group website is hosted with Infomaniak in Switzerland. Hosting and technical providers may process technical data where this is necessary to operate, secure and maintain the website.
If we use additional service providers for a game or website feature, we will only share data to the extent reasonably necessary for that service.
17. How long we keep information
We do not keep personal data longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, unless a longer period is required for legal, security or documentation reasons.
Support messages, game ideas and business inquiries can be deleted when they are no longer needed for the request, evaluation, collaboration or related records.
18. Questions, access or deletion
If you want to know what personal information we have about you, want something corrected or deleted, or have any other privacy question, write to team@akmansgroup.com.
Please provide enough information for us to understand and identify the relevant request. We may ask for reasonable verification before providing or deleting personal information.
19. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
20. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, games, technical services or legal requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page.
